Am 11.08.2006 habe ich, Karin, mich auf die Reise Richtung Kanada gemacht. Zielflughafen war Seattle/ USA. Stationen unserer Rundreise "Canadian Rockies" waren:
Seattle-Vancouver-Wells Grey Provincial Park - Jaspar National Park - Banff National Park - Yoho National Park - Golden - Seattle.
Tourveranstalter war Suntrek.
Zunächst waren jedoch noch zwei Tage Zivilisation in Seattle angesagt, ehe wir am 13.08.2006 mit unserem Van in Richtung Kanada starteten. Mit an Bord waren:
5 Spanier: Nuri, Patricia & Manolo, Juan und Juan,
3 Deutsche: neben mir Dirk und Jens
1 Österreicherin: Annelies, meine Zeltpartnerin
1 aus dem Land der Yellow Licsence Plates: (don't worry Lydia...) Tourguide Barbie und
1 Südkoreanerin: Kylie, unsere Jüngste
sowie unser Guide Pete aus Vermont/ USA und Fan der Boston Red Sox.
Toursprache ist natürlich Englisch.

My name is Karin and I'm from Germany. Last year (2006) I went on my second trip with Suntrek Tours.
Destination: Canada - Tour "Canadian Rockies", departing August 13th.
On August 11th I arrived in Seattle. That way I had two days for sightseeing and shopping in Seattle. I spent the nights in a hostel close to Pike Place Market, downtown and waterfront.
The route:
Seattle-Vancouver-Wells Grey Provincial Park - Jaspar National Park - Banff National Park - Yoho National Park - Golden - Seattle.
The other participants of our tour:
5 people from Spain: Nuri, Patricia & Manolo, Juan and Juan (yes, hot chocolate please...)
3 people from Germany: Jens, Dirk and me
1 girl from Austria: Annelies - we shared the tent
1 girl from the country of the Yellow Licsence Plates: (don't worry Lydia...) Tourguide Barbie
and 1 girl from South Korea: Kylie, the youngest of all
and last but not least our Guide Pete: He is from Vermont and a big fan of the Bosten Red Sox!
